Patricia’s experience spans various industries, from Information and Communication Technology, to Oil and Gas, to Water Resources, to Utilities, to Public Service and Administration. Her passion is in introducing new technology and providing solutions to improve the operational efficiency of customers and organizations. She is experienced in the area of new business development, institutional and sector reforms, SME development through training and mentoring, as well as Public Private Partnership’s, to drive development through private sector participation in various sectors to improve efficiency and leverage finance.

Patricia has over 30 years of experience in the private sector, public sector and most recently in the non-profit sector. She started out her career in Information Technology and moved to Telecommunication, and then on to Oil and Gas where she set out to establish AFTRAC Limited, a service company offering production related services including: Well Testing, Production Optimization, Process Diagnostics, and Sand Management & Consultancy. Leveraging on her experience in Business Development, Project Management and Customer Relationship Management she accomplished building a successful business that she currently oversees as Managing Director/CEO.

From 2009 to 2015 she was called into Public Service, appointed by the Government of Rivers State, Nigeria, as Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development. Passionate about improving the wellbeing of the underserved, she initiated and championed State Water Sector Reforms, including introducing the first Rivers State Water Policy and updating the State Water Laws. Apart from this she created and facilitated the successful operationalization of new water institutions; developed a Statewide Water Sector Development Plan; and secured International Development Assistance from the World Bank and African Development Bank for the rehabilitation and upgrade of the Port Harcourt Urban Water Supply Scheme, designed to deliver water to over 1.2million people. She also secured Technical Assistance and Funding from the European Union, USAID, WSP and UNICEF for various initiatives including institutional strengthening, water governance and regulation, and small towns and rural water supply.

Patricia is presently the Secretary to the Executive Board of the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), an advocacy group that drives local participation and technology in the oil and gas sector. She is a co-founder and Vice President of Women in Energy Network (WIEN), a non-profit involved in increasing female participation in the Energy value chain, and closing the gender gap. She is also a council member to WEConnect International, Women Owned Businesses in Nigeria, and is a member of Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board’s, NCCF (Nigerian Content Consultative Forum) Sectoral Working Group for Women.

Holding a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, (MPA) from Harvard, Kennedy School of Government, and a B. Sc. in Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Port Harcourt, Patricia has also completed the Senior Executive Program at London Business School and various other Executive training and development programs on Improving Government Performance, Project Management, and Technology & Innovation.

In her spare time Patricia enjoys playing golf and is committed to a variety of Christian Charity projects and programs.
