Almost 30 years- experience in assisting major and independent International Oil Companies (IOCs) doing business in several countries in Africa, including:

  • Negotiations of several Production Sharing Contracts and Joint Venture Agreements on behalf of IOCs
  • Advising major and independent oil companies in the review, discussion and negotiation of petroleum agreements (PSAs, Risk Service Contracts and JV agreements), including tax and customs implications
  • Assisting IOCs on contractual, regulatory and tax implications of farm-in and farm-out transactions
  • Assisting IOCs on taxation / customs issues and related discussions with the Government
  • Assisting IOCs in setting up business structures and in restructuring their operations
  • Advising IOCs on E&P related- regulatory, local content, procurement, environmental, foreign exchange, financing, tax and customs issues
  • Assisting IOCs in connection with drafting oil & gas-related, tax, customs, training, procurement and regulatory legislation;
  • Assisting IOC in structuring acquisition, licensing and importing FPSO
